Courtice Home Health Care is seeking a reliable and skilled Mobility Equipment Technician / Handyman to provide installation, assembly, maintenance, and minor repair services for clients in their homes, retirement residences, and community settings throughout Durham Region.

Responsibilities:
- Assemble and install hospital beds, patient lifts, wheelchairs, walkers, scooters, and other mobility equipment
- Perform minor repairs and adjustments to mobility and home safety equipment
- Install home accessibility products such as grab bars, transfer poles, ramps, and safety devices
- Deliver exceptional customer service while working with seniors and individuals with mobility challenges
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and provide basic maintenance
- Travel to client homes and facilities throughout Durham Region

Qualifications:
- Experience with hospital beds, wheelchairs, mobility equipment, or general handyman services
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to safely lift and move equipment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Own tools preferred
- Experience working with seniors, healthcare clients, or accessibility equipment is an asset
- Retirees, maintenance workers, biomedical technicians, and experienced handymen are encouraged to apply

- Criminal Record Check
- Liability Insurance (preferred)
- WSIB coverage (preferred)
- Ability to work independently and represent our company professionally

Position Type: Part-time / Casual / Contract — flexible hours based on client needs. Competitive compensation based on experience.
